Splintegrate due end of January

My current work in progress, Splintegrate, is due to be delivered to my editor at Tor Books at the end of January. !!!! This is the first new book from me in a long time. It is not exactly a sequel to Mainline, but takes place in that setting about 2 years after the events in Mainline with some of the same characters. I’m up to here in this work and it is totally eating my brain right now. I’ve had some particular challenges in working on this book since late spring 08. I suppose I may talk about some of those writerly things after the book is delivered, but for now, it’s nose to the grindstone for me and not much said during the process. Now to get some freelance work off my desk so I can get back into some completely uninterrupted weeks of writing…
