Reviews & Commentaries
This is an alphabetical master index page listing all media reviews and critiques/commentaries here at the Lizard Lair. I also have quite a few reviews that have appeared elsewhere as well and over time will be importing these into the blog.
Also, so we can have a relative measure of saurish glee or harumph-ishness about media content, I have invented a little Lizard Lair media rating system. The stomps of approval that you will see here correspond to the ratings on this chart (click to enlarge; once its on its own page, click a second time and it’ll really be legible. Weird, but there you have it).
And now, to the reviews. The last part in parentheses is shorthand for how many stomps something has. For instance, (**.5) is 2.5, or two and a half stomps. (And if you know someone who can design stompy emoticons to insert on a line of type, please put me in touch with them!)
