Re-imaged version of “V” airs in November!

I’m rattling around back here in the cyberdust getting ready to resuscitate my regular blogging schedule. Not quuuiiiiite there yet but just came across this I wanted to share:

Science Fiction and Fantasy Dominate the 2009 Prime-Time Dramas

“V” (Starring: Elizabeth Mitchell, Morena Baccarin, Joel Gretsch and Scott Wolf)

Debuts Tuesday, November 3 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Television

The Visitors are back in this re-imagined version of “V,” a popular ’80s sci-fi mini-series. But this time they are harder to detect. More appealing and seductive than before, these aliens actually have been moving among humanity for years. With science fiction veterans Elizabeth Mitchell (“Lost”) and Joel Gretsch (“The 4400″) leading the cast, “V” has an excellent survival rate — but mankind may end up as lizard food.

Wow, now how too cool is that?

If you never saw V before, google around about it. I especially like the darker twist to this, plus the fact that it will most likely be viewable online with ABC’s other primetime tv show.  All that means woo hoo!  There will be much communing with electrons in my near future…

UPDATE:

PLUS, did you notice on the cast list, the fantabulous Morena Baccarin, of late lamented Firefly fame? And if you haven’t seen that, you can happily at least catch up a bit with the Morena (and Firefly) fan club at Hulu.com. Happy surfing.

Author Deborah Teramis Christian

Teramis wrote her first book at age 9, but like all good literary lizards has taken her time charging upon the market. Finally in a situation where she can write full time, she is becoming the Dragon, Unleashed, or a close facsimile thereof. Roar, said the saur.
