Lizard Tricks
Wherein we offer saurishness, harishness, and snacks in the Lizard Lair, plus an assortment of perversely compelling oddments and tasty bits.
We did promise snacks, you know. Look at the subtitle.
Here for your amusement and pleasure, a few lizard tricks, with the occasional bunnish or merson (mouse-person) cameo thrown in for good measure:
Chez Lizardo: cooking central, a collection of videos and recipes from the Cookasaurus’ more informal moments, and the test laboratory for recipes in The Writer’s Cookbook. Having recently (at long last!) acquired a digital camera, I am finally able to share Lizard Lair kitchen mayhem and delights with all those who are Fond of Food. The cookbook is a work in progress, but why wait til tomorrow when you can snack today? Naturally, when time permits, this will be accompanied by the essential chef’s companion, The Cookasaurus’ Guide to Online Gourmet Delights, containing links, commentary and reviews to food-related vendors we Highly Recommend.
Meeple. That’s mouse-people to the uninitiated, but once you get to know a merson, you’ll understand why they’re all meepley. And sweet. And cute. And then there’s Earnie (Earnestine the ASF rat), the multimammate missing link between rats and mice. But shhh, she thinks she’s a mouse, so let’s not tell her, ok?
The Literary Lizard’s List Of Books and Sundries, aka Brainfood (you did want to know what the saur is reading right now, didn’t you?). This may also feature items of bunnish interest from time to time; we’ll see what the harish folk manage to sneak onto the agenda.
If you’re wondering what is meant by the bunny and dino references, sooner or later I will have an occasional cartoon series running here: Figgy & Newton, or, The Dinosaur and Bunny Paradigm of Life. It will alter how you think of life, I’m sure. Meanwhile, you will have to content yourself with The Video, Music, and Oddments Library. This contains all of the above, plus things that make us laugh, or attack us with KwOOtons.
And last but not least, the Casting of Pods.
Stay tuned, and subscribe to the feed or newsletter (subscription form below) so you can learn when all this frabjous goodness comes your way.
Meanwhile, the LLLoBaS awaits.
