Deborah Teramis Christian is a science fiction and fantasy novelist with books published by Tor Books. (See these pages for more information.) In the past she has been a tech writer, marketing writer, journalist, role playing game designer, editor and publisher. She is a US Army vet, a former intelligence translator, and a recovering geek who has abandoned a way-too-long career as a systems analyst and consulting firm CEO.

During her hiatus from writing, Teramis (accent on first syllable) turned into a sociologist, and has long been active in the bdsm, pagan and gaming communities. She is presently holed up in a remote and quiet place where a dear family member and patron of her art enables her to give dedicated attention once again to the call of the Muse. She anticipates getting a lot more great writing into the hands of readers in the future than she has been able to for the last long while.
